Here's a little bit about us.



Sam Childs "My career in fitness started some 17 years ago. I ran a gym and martial arts studio with my ex-partner in Swindon for 2 years where I then qualified as a fitness instructor; teaching aerobics, step and taking gym inductions. We then moved premises where we ran a full time Martial arts Academy during which time I qualified to black belt and devised my own kickboxing fitness program, which I called Te-geri. Later, we took the business to Cyprus where we opened a school in Larnaca. This school is still running successfully today.
I am now a 4th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Master Instructor with Leadership Martial Arts. I enjoy teaching both kids and adults in Swindon. I am the founder of Fighting Fit Club where I now have an outstanding team who run kickboxing fitness classes in and around Swindon for children and adults of all ages and abilities.
Our aim is to get as many people active as we can and show that exercise can be fun. It's also a great way to socialise and meet new people whilst burning calories and helping to keep you safe and healthy."
Jade Auguste "I am a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and have been taking part in the kickboxing classes for 5 years. I have been helping in children's classes for 4 years and am now an assistant instructor in Tae Kwon Do. However I now also run my own children's kickboxing classes, and have been instructing adults kickboxing for the last year.
I am currently training to become a personal trainer, and have completed the following courses; Level 2 Exercise to Music, Level 3 Nutrition and Weight Management for physical activity and I am in the process of completing a Level 2 Gym Instruction course."
Leanne Rouse "I’m a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a qualified 'Exercise To Music' instructor.
I’m a keen runner and a member of the Swindon Striders your often see me pounding the pavements of Swindon on a Monday and Friday night, I also enjoy going to the gym.
I starting training with the Fighting Fit Club 4 years ago after losing a large amount of weight and was looking for something different to tone up and increase my fitness levels and haven’t looked back since. Some would say I eat sleep and drink exercise but it’s really just the buzz I get from teaching and participating in class that I love. My main aim is to make my classes accessible to all levels of fitness and work together as a group to encourage and motivate one another and above all I want you to enjoy them and have loads of fun!"
Sam Quinn "I have been very passionate about sport and fitness ever since i can remember. Taking part in any activity in school and lots outside school gave me the drive and attitude I have towards it today.
I attended Cirencester College, where I received a BTEC in sports science qualification. During my time at college I joined the ladies football academy, while also playing for Swindon Town Ladies where I received Players player and managers player of the season awards 2 years running. I then discovered the world of Martial Arts (thanks to Sam Childs).
I have been training in Kickboxing fitness for 2 years and try to go 3-4 times a week. Peer pressure pushed me up to the next level and I have recently started training in Tae Kwon Do. I am very grateful for this because I absolutely love it.
In November 2010 I went on an ETM Course (Exercise To Music), where I qualified as an instructor.
This has helped me to open up my own classes teaching Kids and Ladies Kickboxing Fitness. I love what I am doing and hope it continues to progress."
